one heck of an Aframe!!

Yes it is! As big as it looks it still has the challenges of not usable space though. I will build a couple of walls on the sides to make a in coop brooder/chicken jail on one side and feed storage on the other.

The dimensions on the inside floor are 8' by 10' which is a challenge for the roosts, not much of a landing area for the birds. So I am making a community roll out nest box in the center of the back, probably it will be about 1/2 in and 1/2 extending out of the coop. The bottom of the nestbox will be 12" from the floor. I will put the roosts as low as I can while still being above the nestbox in order for them to be able to get off the roosts without flying.

It has been fun so far.

Ok, for the 2 people who may see this I’m making this my unofficial coop build page...

here’s today’s progress, I got the facia hung, I had some 2x10s laying around and I got the metal roof up on one side.
