How to fatten my girls up.

My chickens are pets as well, in fact, a part of my family. Mine get some protein everyday, I don't like when they are skinny. I also focus on gut health and add pre and probiotics or give them yogurt.

Welcome to BYC. I give mine sardines, salmon, or canned cat food for extra protein. You can encourage them to eat more by giving them wet chicken feed once a day. You can wet it with water or low sodium broth. My girls love that just do not leave it out more than an hour to prevent bacteria.
