Hi, I apologise if this has already been discussed ad nauseum.
My flock is all together in one coop, spanning from six weeks to well over a year. They all go after the same bowl of food when I feed, even when I try to seperate them. I have chick starter/grower 20%, and the regular layer feed for my three grown hens. How do I ensure that they're all getting what they need, but not giving too much calcium to the pullets and the juvenile rooster.
Also-- what do grown roosters end up eating- the same layer the hens eat?
The flock free ranges during the day in addition to what I feed in the morning.
