How to fluff up chick that has dried egg yolk on her

An egg that hatched yesterday afternoon had been foaming through the pip hole, so I think the chick somehow ruptured the yolk sac while trying to hatch.

The chick hatched and I assumed it wouldn't last long. But I tied off the umbilical cord, wrapped her in a towel to keep her separate from the other chick that had hatched, and put her back in the incubator. I tried to give her a little sugar water but she seemed repulsed and I'm not sure she took any in.

I expected her to have passed overnight but she's still alive. She honestly seems...ok? But she looks like she's covered in hair gel and will never puff up this way. I'm not looking to do anything very soon because I don't want to further traumatize her or chill her, but eventually I will need to get this yolk off.

Any advice? Do I immerse her in warm water for a bit? Use a spray bottle with warm water? Her belly was a bit distended and honestly I don't know what it is supposed to look like.

Some pics I just took

Well, first of all never give chicks under 24 hours old any liquid or food, unless they drink it out of a dish on their own. A pic would help. I use a warm damp toothbrush.

Shoot. I chose to follow some advice maybe I shouldn't have. I did it because she didn't have the benefit of all of her her yolk contents and thought she might need it. Oops.

It's ok. If she's fine right now she didn't aspirate or anything. I would offer her some water with some electrolytes or nutridrench in it if you have any. Tomorrow though, she'll be fine until tomorrow. Dip her bill in a dish of water, and then tip her up. She'll swallow and she may go back for another drink on her own.

I also had a chick with a ruptured yolk sack about a week, or two ago. It was sticky with yolk.

It was able to absorb it's intestines into the stomach cavity, thankfully before I assisted it. The chick was to weak, & too large for it's shell to do any zipping.
