How to get 9week olds NH Reds to leave the coop and enter the pen.

Don’t want to keep their waterer in the coop but they won’t exit via the trapdoor and ramp! They will however exit via the egg box door but I want them to see the egg boxes as places to lay eggs, not use as exits. Any ideas?

How long have they had access to the pen? Chickens hate change and take a while to adapt.

Do they know how to navigate the ramp?

4 weeks in the coop which is inside the pen. Any thought on how to teach them how to use the ramp?
