how to get a chicken to eat.

If this is in the wrong forum sorry. My girl was hurt by the other chickens about two weeks ago. I have her inside because the wound had to be stitched. My problem is now she doesn't show a lot of interest in food. Maybe some bread, a little fruit but not much interest in pellets or cat food. She is Drinking. She was eating some bird seed I have. Any ideas on what to feed her or how to get her to eat. She randomly lays an egg. I wanna do what's best for her. Maybe ferment some feed? Yogurt, ect, for protein? I'm at a loss and want her to eat so she gets better. It breaks my heart to think I might be doing something wrong by her, but I am new at this whole chicken owning.

Being a new chicken owner is so exciting but I was always worrying about my chickens and still am as they become like part of the family. When my chickens are feeling down, I always get them to eat a bit of porridge (porridge oats and hot water - not with milk), or yogurt, and they never ever say no to a bit of live (or dried) mealworms. I hope this helps and your girlie is feeling better soon x
