Went out to get eggs a little while ago and found 9 empty nest boxes and 3 cranky pants' hens—

The wyandotte is so humongous I can't figure how the BR squeezed herself in there either.

In the first pic, your wyandotte looks like she's saying: "Mom, she's touching me!!!". In the second pic the other wyandotte standing there looks like she's thinking: "Hmmm, wonder if there's room for just one more in there?"

I think she is saying, "I was here first and I'm not leaving till I'm done"!!!!

I heard the splash wyandotte singing the "egg song" and went in to see what was up and she was so mad her eyes just glittered. Stomping up and down in front of the nest voicing her rage. The BR just looks innocent, but the other wyandotte was CRANKY!

We got the nest boxes at a swap meet a year or so back. The curtains were already installed and are holding up well.
