How to get chicks to stop picking at a wound?

I went to TSC today to get chick feed, of course they had chicks and of course they were in almost deplorable conditions. I saw 2 chicks with open pecking wounds and I couldn't stand to leave them there. Min chick purchase is 6... I am now 6 chicks richer 2 Amber-links and 4 GLW

The other 4 won't stop pecking at the wounds, even with Blue Kote applied. Aside from dividing my brooder into thirds(which isn't really feasible) what can I do?

They all look to be about 2-3 days old and are eating, drinking and pooping well.

I know this sounds silly but cover the wound with a band aide or piece of tape. Good luck, I know how frustrating this can be.
