Not yet. I have 11 chickens after him but with two other hens. they are also nice but a bit to dark skin, a bit to much camb and a bit to peaky tails. The hen on the picture refuse to let him mate properly. She doesn't like him. I think she is still missing our previous rooser who died in December. He was gentle with the hens but unfortunately infertile so I don't have any babies from my favorite hen. Oscar is bit to rough during mating. I will try in two Artificial Insemination in two weeks when my incubator is empty again.

You must stroke the roosters back towards the vent in order to get him to do the deed. The testes are located along the spine inside the rooster.
It is pretty difficult on some roosters, especially if they are not used to the process. I have a white silkie rooster who I have no problem with, but I also have a buff silkie rooster who I have only succeeded in getting sperm from once. He is difficult to hold, and stroke and catch the sperm all at the same time, would be easier with two people however my husband refuses to help with the process.

You stroke their back, a few times, then squeeze the vent to get the semen out...thats how I was taught. On this buff silkie rooster however, I recnetly tried again and accidently tickled his belly a bit and that helped him out a bit as well. So each rooster is a bit different, you just have to find out what will work for your boy. They also have to relax.
