My run is tilled twice sometimes 3 times a week to cut down on smell and other nasty and health related issues. If there's nothing to be done I understand, because I cant think of any other way to reduce the amount of flies that linger in the run. Open to suggestions!! Thanks Y'all!

Try using some food grade DE. Should help a lot. How is tilling the run working? Does it make any difference at all? That sounds like a lot of work several times a week.
Where can I purchase that? Sorry im new to chickens, lol. Yes it helps a lot with smell, until it rains :/ and also they are not walking in piles of poo! To me it doesn't seem like a lot of work, but im a stay at home mom to a toddler so my chickens are my ME time when the kids napping :)

I use Stall Dry in my horse stalls - available at Tractor Supply - I am also a fan of the fly predators and have seen a reduction in flys using them.
