How to get gum off of clothes

I put clothes in washer and was ready to put them in the dryer, found out that gum was in a pocket, so now how do I get the gum off the clothes. Some is sticking really good.

I've heard to freeze the piece of clothing in the freezer, then chip off the frozen gum. I've honestly never tried it though, so no guarantees.

I was thinking both, but wasnt sure so I thought I would ask on here and see who all said what

peanut butter if you leave it on 4 couple of minutes but i would put them in the freezer or outside if is cold out

Beats me, she's weird, but she's right more often than not. Pretty smart cookie even if she did marry me.

I would try freezing it first. Peanut butter works for getting it out of your hair though.

Peanut oil breaks down the sticky part of gum. I'd certainly go that route first.

Both will work. I have tried both. If you use the peanut butter and on the chance it leaves a little greasy spot, then you can use Dawn dishwashing liquid on the spot. I would recoment the peanut butter. Some one does have a smart wife LOL.
