How to get humidity at 55% - Genesis 1588???

Just got the incubator...

Been over 15 hours on...

My temp is always at 100 but humidity stays at 60

Anyway to get it at 55? I got duck eggs, can I put them in wit the humidity on 60?

Use the smaller water well. The less surface area, the lower the humidity.

I used the one with the long groove like the instructions said. The big one in the middle is for when they are hatching. So should I put foil on the bottom?

Have you calibrated your hygrometer? If you have set it up per the instructions you should be reading a good level. If your hygrometer is off then it may only appear to be reading 60.

If you have calibrated, then yes, you need to cover some of the water surface area to bring down the humidity.
