How to get humidity higher?

We have a cabinet incubator and we have 2 pans of water one on the top shelf and one on the bottom. The holes are closed that are suppose to be but we can get the humidity up any higher than 45%. How can we raise it higher? We have guinea and blw eggs we want to hatch. Please help

Increasing humidity is simply a factor of increasing the surface area of the water. Some people add additional water dishes or wet sponges to increase it. Are the eggs about to hatch and that is why you want to increase it? As eggs hatch they release a ton of water and the humidity increases rapidly.

The eggs have been in the incubator for about 2 days now. I read that the humidity is suppose to be around 55% but we can't get it to that?
