. The foster agency asked that we paint the bedroom over the weekend. So I got more of the mocha frappachino shade the rest of the house is in.
In order to make it go better I was given the realitively simple task of masking off the non-paint areas, and then using the trim brush while hubby handled the rollers.

should've been simple.... but this IS me.

I tried to reach up and managed to dump the whole tray thingy of paint right down my shirt

. I had the sence to grab the carpet steamer and raise the paint out of the carpet, but when we finished I noticed that the paint had seeped thru my shirt onto my skin. I've not got a paint "bikini line" of my bra.

I've taken 3 showers, used the apricot scrub, and it's still there. It's close to my skin tone, and it looks like I messed up with bottled tanner. This would all be funny, if i didn't have inspection tomorrow.

Turpentine- but don't smoke while your removing the paint!

Use a cotton ball to wipe it off, then shower and be sure to wash really good with soap and water!

A guy at Home Depot told me what to use but I'm not sure I remember right. I think he said Windex, that the ammonia would break down the binding agents in the paint. I know I tried it once and it worked really well but that was last month and I've slept since then. I hope that was right cuz I have to finish painting the coop someday soon.

Good luck!

I don't smoke, if I did i'm most likely catch my hair on fire. Then again the fire station and ambulance drivers all know me anyways.

Made one cry once, didn't mean to, just did.

Latex is easy to get off ... If you could soak for a bit in the tub with Epsom salts it will be even easier to wash off. a bit if scraping with your finger nail or use a scrunchy wash cloth.

now if it was oil paint... and this will help with latex too ... baby oil. mineral oil. or any type of oil you have handy ... canola, olive, vegetable. Will whisk it right out of hair or off skin.

PS Paint Thinner or Turpentine to clean brushes .... it's so harsh on the skin ... and oil will work. belive me ... I paint and it's all I use.

paint washes off skin easy..unless its oil based..UGH!..i'd use a paint thinner myself if i couldnt get it off and was really worried about it.

It wouldn't be soo bad if it wasn't a lacy bra, it looks like I tan in my underware, NOT the impression I want to give out.

Oh, I have painted so many sets and I am a very messy painter. So, there always ends up with more paint on me then on whatever it is I'm painting.

Latex paint is pretty easy. Just get a nice washcloth (a rough one) and rub it off when you are in the shower. You can also use your fingernails. It actually comes off easier if it's thicker. Now, getting it out of hair is another matter...
