How to get Marek's vaccine in the US?

Prescription required? The equine version doesn't require one, at least online. I'm sure Komifornia has an overrule. I couldn't find a source online, everyone seems backordered.

What's the oldest the chick can be? I read a day-old and 3-4 days for "the vaccine to work".

The vaccine won't work if the birds have been previously exposed to the virus. It won't hurt to vaccinate an older bird, but it's not known how effective the vaccine will be.

Ha ValleyVet, used them many times, not sure why it didn't come up.

They're 2 weeks old. I've been careful to not isolate them (they're in the garage). From what I read, the virus doesn't pass the egg barrier. Could be wrong. Worth a shot I think, no pun.

I have vaccinated older chicks.. it makes no difference.. they can not be introduced to the virus until 10 days after vaccination is all.. I have kept chicks in the house and extra week or two so I had more to do at one time..

It seems to work. No Maraks here anymore.
