My grandma lives in a trailer and when her neighbor moved, she left her 2 cats a male and female, now there are 16! They need to go, but we cant shoot them cause she lives to close to town, and if we poison them they will go under her house and die. Trapping, 16 cats are you kiding, so does anyone have any good plans? Please, i need your help! Thanks!

Call your local animal shelter. They will be more than happy to assist you in the removal of the cats!

Ya I'd call the shelter to come get them!!! Cats multiply fast!!! And destroy wildlife bird, chipmunks, etc.

humane society said they wont help, and they are all deformad and sick anyways, they would probably charge us with animal cruelity or something.

You have to call Animal Control. A shelter won't come. Animal control is the humane way to go, otherwise these cats will either starve to death, dehydrate, or get ripped up by dogs, or run over. It's more humane to call them.

well she has been feeding them and they have been there for like 2 years, she wouldnt let us take the five after the first litter so now she has 16. How much would animal control cost?

OH yes call the humane society...they will come get them...just tell them they are not yours and they need to be removed. They will at least get a chance at a new life. Please don't poison them that would be an awful painful death for them!! It's not fair to them...this is not their fault...they need a chance at a good life

Give them that chance. If I lived closer I would come get them all and bring them to a shelter for you.

The pound (animal control) shouldn't charge you anything to come out and get them. Your taxes are paying for that!

My son volunteer at our humane society and I have seen animal control take the animals to them so they don't have to be destroyed. Maybe there's a possibility that they might do that there. It sounds like they need to go, whatever end they face. Good luck!

Our humane society will come get stranded pets here in our city...maybe because it's smaller though. Anyway, if you do have an animal control that will work too if your humane society won't get them.
