How to get rid of fleas?!?

Update: I am going to bathe the puppies and clean out the area and redo the adult dogs treatments and things. This morning when my mom went out to check on them around 10 one of them was dead... i dont know what my luck is this year but it's obviously not good. thanks for all he suggestions

Its likely anemia from the fleas. Small puppies that young can't handle being overloaded with parasites like that for long.

Please see a vet asap for mom+the puppies. I think this is getting out of the realm of being able to treat at home if you're losing puppies.

As a last resort, you could take a flea comb, a bowl of warm soapy (use Dawn) water and simply comb each puppy's hair, dip the comb in the soapy water (the fleas will drown ONLY if there's soap) and make sure the comb is clean before combing again.

On the adult dogs, make sure that you are not bathing after applying or administering the flea product.

So sorry for your loss of the one puppy. This is a tough situation.

I called the vet and that is exactly what I did and they seem to have lessened. I moved them to a different area and am cleaning out the pen and the fleas seem to have gotten less prominent on them.
