I can't read any more of this thread. Fortune has my own coop devoid of bugs flies ants spiders soon after a chicken encounters them.
The rat snake takes care of small rodents.

That's a wonderful thought, i love reptiles of all kinds, i keep a few reptilian pets as well so i wouldn't mind having them around. And i know they'd take care of the earwigs which might help the spiders lose interest.
