I was wondering, i really want a silver laced wyandotte, or something that looks like it. my wife won't let me buy one because i just bought a black australorp from a neighbor, and then i felt guilty cause my old flock was mean to her and i got a golden laced wyandotte from my neighbor as a friend, and they both seem happy. either way can i hatch something that looks like a silver laced wyandotte. i have 1 black australorp hen , 1 golden laced wyandotte hen, 10 buff orpington hens, 3 new hampshire red hens, 3 rhode island red hens. my rooster is a silver ameraucana could he breed with one of them to make something that looks like a silver laced wyandotte. and i know i can't tell the difference but could my black australorp hen have a black orpington kid, i know they're practically the same chicken. and any chance of a blue orpington because according to mypetchicken.com blue does not breed true so blue kids could be black. does that mean black orpingtons could turn out to be blue.
