I am almost finished building a crazzzzzy turkey tractor for my poults. It's 8' long by 4' wide, made out of old recycled skis, recycled lumber, and chicken wire. What I am wondering about is how to get them out of there at the end of the day. Is there an easy way?

Make a long L shaped pole and reach in and pull/herd them out. Maybe get a 10 foot pvc tube and a 3foot piece and use a corner connector to connect them. Or feed it thru the other end and gently push or direct them out.

Good idea with the pole, thanks.

Adam, the way it usually works - all but one will come out.

I made mine were you can open both ends
the front and the house end

but mine was just a $10 tractor though

I use a fishing net with small holes so they can't stick their heads through.

It works like a charm. I tired the wire hook method. It was a pain in da booty.

And the net helps when herding them around since it will give you more reach. Good Luck
