How to get young chickens to roost?

Got all 16 tonight! I just went out to check on them, 9 of them were on the roosts, and 7 of them were huddled on the floor.

rn I have a polish pullet that likes to roost on top of the coop, in the very CENTER of the top of the coop lol. I was thinking tomorrow I could put her in an animal crate in the coop before she goes to roost.

I think the plan is working! 2 of my little chickens, Speckle the speckled sussex cockerel and Sprinkles the ss pullet both went to roost in the big chicken coop tonight on their own!
