How do you guys give more proteins into your hens? Is there something you put in the water or give them something more? I don’t know I just feel like they need more protein because since we’ve put the pin less peepers we’ve seen some feathers but it’s pretty slow. So what do you do?

I mix 24% starter with their feed to bring the percentage up.

Are you sure protein is the problem? Chickens don't usually replace their feathers unless they're pretty cold, or they're moulting. And if part of a feather shaft is still inside the hen, she won't replace that feather until she moults.

I am feeding my 27 month old hens a Non-Medicated Starter-Grower 18% Protein with Oyster Shells in a separate container.
I have Golden Comets and they feather pick on a 16% Layers feed.
I can get 20 or 24% Starter-Grower feed even a 22% Meat Bird feed. But I've found 18% is enough for my girls. My hens love the feed. The only downside is it doesn't come in a Pellet.
If you can get a 20% Protein feed that's Non-Medicated, I would go with that. Mix it 50/50 for a couple of weeks with your current feed, then just the higher Protein feed. Don't forget the Oyster Shells or crushed limestone, whatever is available in Canada.
I recommend a 18-20% feed for a backyard flock of chickens year-round. GC
