So I finally got my barnyard finished for the goats chickens ducks and guineas how do they stay in the fence do I clip their wings?
I have seen many farm that have all there animals and they stay in the fence

I clip one wing on each hen. They haven't been able to jump/fly over even a 4 foot fence.

Yeah, you can do some feather clipping on the wings, it helps some.

The first year is the toughest, even some of the large breed pullets are light enough to go over a fence. As they get older they'll gain weight and most will stay grounded.

For the lighter ones and the banties you may have a problem. I have one rouge Andalusian who can top a 5' fence even with clipped wings. She stays close to the others but always on the wrong side of the fence. Not sure how to keep her in.
