How to grow fodder for chickens?

Hi, I am wanting to grow fodder for my chickens and rabbit and I was wondering what kind of seed to use, would I be able to use black oil sunflower seeds. Or do I use something else. Thanks

I’ve watched videos on YouTube that show black oil sunflower seeds being made into fodder. Same process as any whole grain is my guess. I want to start as well but thinking of trying barley

I have also seen it on YouTube but the videos I have watched they just sprouted them it did notvgrow fully before they gave it to their chickens, so I dont know if it would actually grow in to fodder? Thank you for the info

Sunflower seeds work great, so will just about any other kind of vegetable or grain seed.
