I was thinking that it would be really nice to have a small slip of paper to put with a dozen of eggs that told city folks what to do with farm eggs.
like we most always crack in a bowl first, the yolk will be a darker color but still ok,tastes better, & a few other things so as to not have to tell them every time.
any one have something like that?
or can y'all help make one up?
Thank you

I think, just from personal experience, that if you do that, you should make it more of an upbeat paper which doesn't in the least suggest that you are defending your eggs.

For example, don't sat that the yolks are dark because....

Instead, say something like: You can see that our hens eat only the finest natural foods by the beautiful, rich color of our egg's yolks!

Good luck!

I agree with Tutter. You may even want to add a brief nutritional analysis as compared to store bought eggs. Maybe a favorite recipe?

Just thoughts.

ummnn.... i didn't know farm raised needed any diff handling then store bought... what DO you do different?
