How to help a hen recover from enthusiastic rooster?

The other day I got 3 BO hens from a friend of mine. They all have some missing feathers, but one of them is worse than the others. The skin is all healed, she just has to grow back feathers. What I was wondering was- do I have to do anything to help her recover, or should I just let her be?

I would try a chicken saddle to protect her back from further damage and allow new feathers to grow in

If you feed her flock raiser food with about 20% protein it shouldn't take too long. Since hers are actually pulled out rather than just broken, I think they'll grow back in a couple months. I had a hen who was defeathered about as severely as yours and hers grew back rapidly, even though it wasn't molting season
