You could you, you could also weigh them, I have forgotten how much weight they are supposed to lose

Yes unless you have an automatic turner

If it is a new incubator (one you have not used before) start it running a few days before you need it, try to get the correct humidity

They are meant to loose 10% I think I'll still weigh them, but not mark the air cells

by proper I mean with a hygrometer and do all the stuff professionals do

mine is automatic so it doesn't matter then

my hygrometer\thermometer arrived. It doesn't need to be calibrated or anything (instructions said so). do I just put it on the egg turner with the eggs?
