How To Instaul Pinless Peepers-HELP PLEASE

I have recently bought pinless and am not sure how to put them on. Please help, we are going on vacation soon and I nees to get them on so the baby sitter does not have to deal with injured bird!!!!!!!

Soak the peepers in hot water to soften them up some. Hold the chicken between your knees. Grasp the peeper with your fingers and bend it so there's more space between the prongs. Get it in position in front of the chicken's beak and then quickly pop it into place. If you do it slowly you will freak the bird out and probably cause pain by sticking one of the prongs in too far.

that soaking in the hot water is very important..... I put mine on with out using that piece of advice and it was a pain... it can be done but it stinks...... I need to obtain smaller ones thouse for the chukar and game banties....

We used a pair of snap ring pliers. My hubby put them on as I held them. It was easy peasey.

My hubby just corrected me by saying they were "90 degree snap ring pliers."
