This is a bit of a weird question but the people here seem to always know the answers!

We recently got pigeons and our farm cat has been VERY interested (climbed the fenced part of the pigeon coop even). The cat does not attack or even pay attention to our free ranging chickens and I had hoped he’d be the same with these guys. The pigeons NEED to feel safe here. Any ideas on how to keep the cat away/not interested?

There is currently a caged part around the upper window and door as well. And the cat had climbed all the way up to there.

I’m not sure if cat deterrent chips around the coop would be enough? Or if I should do more. I really don’t want to get rid of the cat...he’s our buddy!

On amazon you can get motion sensored things that shoot out air when the cat walks past it. wont bother you but will scare the crap out of a cat
