How to keep eggs from freezing

We are not as cold as you... I have a more lenient view of frozen eggs. If it is frozen so hard that the shell is cracked, and the white protrudes and is frozen solid - those go to the dog.

If there is a just a small crack - I keep them and use them ASAP.

If just a hairline crack, they go in the fridge to be used soon.

We can get dang cold here, but it is sporadic, as in way below 0 for days, then back up to 50 degrees above.

So aggravating, as winter eggs are hard to come by, and then to freeze them.
