How to keep eggs from freezing

I love the idea of heated seedling pads! While it may not get quite as cold as Manitoba, we get our share of cold weather in the Montreal area. I’m going to try this out for sure!

We are not as cold as you... I have a more lenient view of frozen eggs. If it is frozen so hard that the shell is cracked, and the white protrudes and is frozen solid - those go to the dog.

If there is a just a small crack - I keep them and use them ASAP.

If just a hairline crack, they go in the fridge to be used soon.

We can get dang cold here, but it is sporadic, as in way below 0 for days, then back up to 50 degrees above.

So aggravating, as winter eggs are hard to come by, and then to freeze them.
