how to keep poo off the ecoglow?

My peeps are a week old and are sitting on the ecoglow and pooing on it. Any ideas what to put on it to prevent this?

I always thought if I had a real problem .I would cover it with Aluminum Foil or a layer if cardboard held in place with small weight in center.Mine get some poo but it dries and it brushes off easy ,Then when I put it away I spray with 409 or whatever wife got let it sit a little while and wipe clean.Me and my birds love that thing...cva34
