How to keep POOH off belly of Splay-legged button?

Any ideas on how to stop a splay-legged button quail from dragging itself through POOH ??

Poor wee baby can move fast but uses 1 wing to help propel or drag itself .... right through it's own pooh .... each day I have to bathe it to remove all that poop!

Thanks but it's not a 'true' splay leg == she has a dislocated hip

With a dislocated hip, it would be kindest to cull. That poor bird is not going to have a good quality of life. You're discovering the poop problem. Then comes the other issues such as feather loss, scraping on the belly, possibly infection, etc.
