How to know if chicks are internally pipping?

Pecking at the air cell means its prob absorbing its yolk. Takes around 24 hrs usually before external pip

it has been around 99 degrees but at the moment it is 98

If this is a still-air incubator, then it should have been 100-101 F, which have been your problem.

I think we will buy an incubator for the next time because it was really hard to keep the humidity and temperature correct all the time.

Don't want to jinx it, but the two eggs are rocking and rolling broke open the other egg and it was dead positioned correctly, but still needed to absorb the yolk.

My egg that had a hole cracked in it from my hatched chick was dead also. The crack happened right at the beak but the chick wasn’t ready for the outside world yet thankful for you all because you encouraged my Eggtopsy and I learned so much

The chick that was internally pipping yesterday has now stopped but i can still see the beek in the air cell, but i see no movement. Should i make a hole to see what's going on?
