How to know if eggs are fertile or not?

I candled them ,there were no veins. No development at all.

The 2nd one looks like it has begun to develop, but died. I'd guess they were fertile, but the high temperature stopped them from developing, unfortunately... :( How did you buy them? Eggs sent per mail will normally yield a lower development percentage, as some might get damaged by the shipment.

You can leave them a few more days and keep candling, the veins should be easier and easier to see. If there don't appear to be any by now it looks like you'll have to start again with new eggs.

I bought them from a pet store, the hygrometer was delivered today. The temperature its showing is 101 and humidity at 38%. Maybe the problem was with the humidity ? It's a homemade incubator so do you have any ideas to increase the humidity?
