how to know what color the eggs will be

I have a couple.of chickens that were given to me they came from a farm where they have lot for breeds and many roosters so i have mixed hens is there any way to know what color eggs they should lay before they start laying?

I was told that one of girls would lay white eggs because she has white ears. It turned out to be true. As far as my others with red ears, they make brown and lovely green eggs. So, if she has white ears then I would bet she will lay white eggs.
