How to lower humidity in sailnovo

I just acquired a 42 egg incubator from sailnovo. The instruction booklet only directs me on how to add water not how to lower humidity and there do not appear to be any adjustable vents that I can find does anyone have experience with this incubator and can give me advice?
It does have an alarm to tell me when it is out of desired range but so far my best guess has been propping it open a teeny teeny tiny bit to let humidity escape

I do not have this incubator, but will offer advice based on common sense.
If doing what you are doing is working,,, then just continue.

What target humidity percentage are you aiming for??? (since you mentioned wanting to lower)
Many peeps dry hatch eggs, successfully BTW. They do introduce humidity at lockdown, to prevent possibility of shrink wrap.

My goal with this one is anywhere from 45 to 60 because I am not very accurate with this one yet. My other one with a vent and a small reservoir I can usually keep between 50 and 55 but I've also used it several times. It's only kind of working? Depending on how I adjust it right before bedtime it's either really high or really low by the time I get up which is my main concern

Humidity is gained by surface area of water not the amount of water added. You need to find something that is deep enough to hold enough water to not dry out so fast and just enough surface area to get desired humidity. Like a shot glass or a jar lid small cup or bowl.

Unfortunately there is not enough room in the incubator for any sort of dish of water there might be at the point that I take the auto Turner out and go into lockdown but at the moment there is not

My best advice is to get rid of the sailnovo! I did and my hatchrate went up from 0-5% to 75-85% on shipped eggs with Brinsea

Unfortunately that's not really an option my preferred incubator is my nurture right 360 -which is currently full of the more viable eggs-however the sailnovo was just a cheap incubator to put some slightly older Shetland eggs in that somebody gifted me that I really didn't want to pass on hatching.

My sailnovo had heatspikes that killed many many chicks
