I really question the wisdom of shipping anything other than day-olds. I would like to think that most of us could find chickens within a couple hours' drive. Now that the price of gas is down under $2, that should work, eh? I have had some fun with DD, traveling a few miles down the road, grabbing lunch & picking up some eggs or birds.
