How to make a small run that will keep chickens in

I have 3 chickens and a backyard coop. Until now, I have let the chickens have free range of my backyard, but now i want to start a veg garden out back, and am tired of chicken poop all over my deck and patio. I am planning on building a small run around my coop, and I'd rather not clip the wings. They seem to be able to fly over a fairly high fence (even though they are heavy breeds), so I am thinking of putting some kind of netting over the top to keep them in. Any suggestions on how high to make the fence? also, I'm wondering how to allow for access for me to the coop with netting over the top. Any suggestions for what type of netting to use that will be easy to attach and detach without tearing? Predators are not a big problem and the chickens will be securely in their coop at night.

Make the walls high enough that you can stand in it. No detaching and reattaching, and no stooping over for a period of time to clean.
