How to make Broody Hen accept her chick

My broody hen had 3 chicks. One of the chicks I had to help. It is all healthy and cute. I put it under her last night and this morning went to make sure she was accepting it. She did not. She was pecking at it. I took it back inside. Should I try again tonight? Is there anything else I can do? Chick is now 2 days old and all by itself?

Put the chick down near her and watch her reaction. You can also distract her with some food and see what happens if she calls the chicks over to eat. The new chick should respond to her calling. If she pecks it viciously you may need to find it a friend and raise it yourself.
