In addition to what's been said, I'd advise getting a DAP diffuser for your house. I bought an Adaptil brand diffuser from a vet, and it helped our dog who had to be crated for illness.

Lots of online places sell DAP diffusers so if you shop around you might find a lower price.

(DAP = dog appeasing pheromone)
