How to make ex bats more relaxed?

I got these ex bats I believe last Wednesday. Every night I had to catch them to put them back inside. The leghorns were the first to figure out the ramp and bedtime. In the evenings is when they tend to get out to explore the run more. Last night was the first night they put themselves to bed!

The small shelter I made has been used a lot by them. Thank you for the recommendation!
