I have 2 I'll sell ya for 10 bucks. New unused. PM if your interested. A dial to set the temp, easy to wire inline to heat source which in your case is light bulbs.

They are not submersible, when used on hot water tank they measure the temp from outside the cast metal tank, which is inside the insulation and outer metal shell.
