How to make homemade dog toothpaste?

My dog T-Bone, a pit mix, had allergies; seasonal and to every dry dog food under the sun. I tried them all. He scratched and licked himself sore. He had a rash that would not clear up. Then I tried the BARF (bones and raw food) diet recommended by Marla at Healthy Tails in Reno NV. My vet was not too keen on the diet. He wanted me to put T-Bone on Prednisone and Benadryl, and buy his expensive dog food and recommended scaling my dogs teeth (several hundred dollars). After having T-Bone on the BARF diet for a couple on months, I took T-Bone back to see the vet. He was totally amazed!!! T-Bones teeth were shiny white, no plaque, his skin was not inflammed. He had no more hot spots. T-Bone enjoyed the raw fruits/veges-including parsley (pureed) and the raw bones. I gave him raw chicken necks (poultry bones do not splinter when they are raw), wings, legs, thighs. Also raw meaty beef bones.
Trust me, raw bones do the trick when it comes to tartar buildup.
