i’m going on vacation, and sadly because one of my ducks get car sick it’s too far a ride to bring them with me.
- so... they’ll be staying at a friends house (who they have met plenty of times before) until i get back.
- i’m bringing their nighttime playpen “coop” with them (that way their sleeping area stays as most the same as possible)
- i’m bringing all their food dishes, so that’s not gonna change either.
- my friend has had ducks so they have a pool for them, but i’ll probably bring their pool so it’s not a change.
- they’ll get plenty of treats to help them adjust.
anything else i can do to help them not be stressed with all the change? they are used to going places with me and my family/friends, but the youngest two have never spent a night away from me. i’m not sure if i’m just being too worried, but i’m scared they’ll be scared without me and my parents (they are human imprinted)
