How to make the flock to a new place?

We are going to be moving our flock (many chickens and some geese and ducks) to our big farm. I am just wondering how they'll react since they've lived here all their life; except when we bought them at 1-2 weeks old.

It will be different, but if you're around, that will make them feel safer. You can visit them in their new housing. There's nothing like tossing a few treats around, to make a new place feel like a good place. If they have their old feeders and waterers, that will be familiar. Do you free range? If so, I would lock them up at first, so they get used to the new housing as home. They'll probably stick closer to home, until they get used to the area.
