how to make "visit my byc page" go away

Hello- I am a newbie and when I post something it says "visit my BYC page" but I have not made one yet. Can I get rid of that until I make a page? Thank you- this site has been so much help so far.

Welcome to BYC! I started with chickens over the summer and the people of BYC have been great. Please visit my BYC Page for my blog links that you may find informative or amusing.

Why not just put a quick greeting there? I never figured out how to make it go away, so I put it to use. Lots of others just leave it empty.

We go through from time to time to delete blank pages. With the current system that will show up any time you've clicked on the "My Page" link.
