how to move ducks?

so my ducks really like the front yard because that's where they started out, their house in on the side of the house and they understand that means food so they go there but they won't explore the backyard unless I take them there and stay out there! I've caught them exploring more areas of the front yard which is good but they poop a lot haha and my kids like playing in the front so I'd like to know any strategies on moving ducks to a new area. I was thinking of moving their pool out there today but will they understand this or sit in the front and yell at me?

I would move the swim pan, have a few treat parties in the back yard, dig up some yummies for them in the back yard, just make it a nice. place for them.

I would also consider temporary fence to block them from the front.

My flock seems to get used to changes in routine - we change seasonally.
