I got the female from My Pet Chicken. I got her last Fall as a duckling. The male I got from a farm in Charlotte NC.

I integrated my sweet little drake when he was less than 3 months old last February (2019). I watched carefully but I was very lucky in that he integrated seamlessly with his 6 older girls.

I fully expected I'd have to keep him separate but after the first day of them all being together, he marched right into the pen with the girls like he'd been doing it forever.

It sounds like you are heading in the same direction with your pretty boy too. I hope so!
