My eggs are shipped eggs. Cells vary from normal to at the pointy end, saddled and on one side. Is there a general rule for how to position these eggs for the best possible outcome?

Thank you!

If there are obvious broken membranes that have caused air pockets to mix with the albumen, now that hatching is imminent, there is much less albumen. So the best you can do is set them, large end up. That will put air pockets at that end where the embryo will attempt to locate its head.
