How to prop up plastic fencing for a roof

My run is about 11x9 and I need a roof. Problem is the fence is only 5'. I would like to use the plastic fence and prop it up in the middle with a pole so I can walk into coop. Any other ideas?

Not clear from your description, but top your "prop pole" with either a good sized square of plywood, or an actual ridge pole extending out from the coop and out to the end of the run.

Make sure the post is firmly set in the ground, as you are likely to bump into it at some point

I would personally use woven wire, not plastic fencing, since the latter is no defense against raccoons and is more likely to come down in an ice- or snowstorm.
